I have a Jackson reverse headstock Strat . I bought this guitar at Seattle Music in 1987 I think, maybe 88. It’s a custom guitar serial number 5048. The finish is a blue/green crackle and it has a Floyd Rose tremolo system. It's still in excellent condition plays great I love to this day. My question is how rare is this guitar?

Thank you,
Ken

I have been trying to find out info on a Jackson I bought a few years ago. It is a Randy Rhoads polka dot gibson style flying v (not the off set signature RR model) with a vintage tremolo (strat style). It is #J6287, and made in the Ontario plant in 1996, from my research. I have never seen another one like it with the vintage trem. Do you know anything about this guitar?

Hi, I have a Randy Rhoads Jackson that was made for Sharon Arden (Ossie Osbourne's wife) the guitar was completed on May 12th 1983. The guitar was owned by the management company, and played by a few of the guitarists that played with Ossie - notably Jake E. Lee (I have found 1 photo of him with the guitar there are at least 7 so I'm told). Ossie's band played at Wormwood Scrubs Prison in 1988 and gave the guitar to the guitarist in the support band. I have decided to sell this guitar - what sort of price could I expect to get (I have all letters from Ossie & Jackson Charvel and the 1988 copy of "Metal Hammer" with the article about Ossie giving the guitar away can you help. Regards Paul

Hi,

I have an older Jackson that I purchased second hand a number of years ago. Recently, I took it down to a local guitar store inquiring about the year and model since I've never seen a Jackson like this before (it doesn't have a serial number). The owner told me it its a Jackson prototype from the early 80's, but modified in a few areas (headstock and bridge). He came to this conclusion by looking at the neck. The neck is molded at the top of the body (mahogany) of the guitar instead of going all the way through it.

I'd love to send you some pictures and get your feedback.

Any help would be great.

Thank you,

Jesse

I bought an old electic guitar today at an estate sale it is unmarked as far as I can see I got it in the original cardboard box it came in . The owners said it was bought in the 70's and the price on the box says 74.88 the only thing on the quitar itself is a sticker that says Made In Japan and a sticker that says Model 1247. There is not a scratch on it and it still works. The owner said the strings would be brittle because its been stored for so long. Any idea where i can find some info on unmarked quitars
