Description

Jackson DXMG Dinky modified with Kerry King EMG Active pickup set

This guitar is used and has been played but is in awesome shape. Auction includes Jackson Hardshell case and Dunlop Strap Locks and strap.

Factory Jackson Spec's:

• Basswood Body (has some cosmetic flaws as described below)


• Hard Rock Maple neck with Reverse Headstock (Neck is flawless other than normal fret wear)


• Black Jackson Hardware


• Liscenced Jackson Floyd Rose Tremolo


• Ivoroid Binding on neck and headstock


• Sharkfin Jackson Fret markers


• 24 jumbo frets


• Awesome Jackson Compound Neck Profile


• Set up when EMG's were installed with D'darrio XL 9's

Added / Modified Items:

• Kerry King EMG pickups. (81 bridge, 85 neck, adjustable pre-amp boost toggle)

Cosmetically there are some flaws in the finish, as stated the guitar is used and has been played. EMG's were installed within the past year. I have many guitars and really haven't played this since the active EMG's went in. I am moving and need to get rid of some guitars. The Case is brand new as well and still has the Jackson accessory tag. I know this is going to be a matter of opinion, but the neck profile on this Jackson is the thinnest feeling Jackson neck I have ever felt. I have owned DK2's, King V's, and a Japanese made RR and this neck beats them all as far as "thin" feeling goes. Like I said, it's really just my opinion and it may or may not matter to you.

Cosmetic flaws:

• Back of the body near the neck joint has some gouges from a prior owners carelessness I have no idea how it happened, but it affects nothing but looks. It has been touched up as well


• Lower front edge of body near lower strap pin has a chip that has been touched up nicely
