Stunning Jackson Soloist from 1986
As close to mint as I have found from this era. This guitar was barely played by its one and only owner prior to me. It comes with the original case and some tags and I do have the original receipt as well.
This guitar's serial numbers is only 25 or so guitars removed from the cutoff point for San Dimas guitars.
I guess technically because Jackson was producing 100 or so guitars per month in the USA, this guitar's serial corresponds to the first week or two of Ontario production. As such, I would argue that the guitar's order was received and processed in San Dimas, and the guitar's build also commenced there. It would be nearly impossible for me to determine what was done where, but guitars like these took months to build. So it was in my opinion begun in San Dimas and finished in Ontario. Pretty cool!
This guitar in particular is difficult to photograph. It just looks much shinier and livelier in person. It truly is a stunning piece of art guitar.
