Jackson Guitars

An Early 1986 USA made San Dimas Custom Shop Soloist in black and yellow Bengal finish.

This classic was made in the now legendary San Dimas Charvel Jackson custom shop.

It is finished with a full body graphic, top, back, sides and all the way up the back of the neck.

This guitar has a really nice ebony fret board with the classic Jackson inlays and the bound neck and headstock. 

You don’t see many San Dimas Soloist Customs pop up on Ebay with full body graphics, so this one is a bit more rare than the average San Dimas made Soloist.

It has the old "TM" logo rather than the “R”. 

It also still has the factory binding over the fret ends.  (Sometimes refered to as Nibs)

The serial number is J1600 range making it an early 1986 piece and solidly a San Dimas piece of Jackson history.

It has a kahler pro tremolo with locking nut and fine tuners for those dive bomb whammy tricks. 

The bridge humbucker looks to have been swapped at some point, while the neck and middle single coils appear to be original, as does everything else but the humbucker.

The guitar is a fantastic playing guitar with excellent action (nice and low) and as such, has been played a fair amount in the almost 25 years after leaving the Jackson Charvel custom shop. 

As you would imagine, it has signs of play and use. I would rate it a 6 or 7 on a 1 to 10 scale (10 being best -  & no used guitar is a 10).

Most notably the paint chip on the back about the size of a half dollar where the primer is showing.  

It has touch up spots here and there and the usual headstock chips.

Most chips and dings appear to be only to the primer coat, with the exception of one on the back near the input jack about the size of a pencil eraser (again, no missing wood).

Comes with grey chainsaw case, with all four latches in working order.

Great playing and sounding classic piece of 80's rock history.

Don't let this one slip away at this great price!
