JACKSON KE2 KELLY USA ELECTRIC GUITAR

The Jackson KE2 Kelly is a US made 6-string electric guitar with a unique offset "K"elly guitar shape. This particular model is similar to the Marty Friedman signature guitar. This is a great metal guitar. The body is made of Alder (K shaped) which is shaped to allow the guitarist to access the upper frets easier. The 25.5" scale neck is made of Quarter sawn Maple and has a unique compound (from 12” to 16”) fingerboard radius. The fingerboard is ebony and is fast. It has 24 jumbo frets for fast and easy playing and is bound as is the headstock. The die-cast tuners and hardware are black. The neck also features Mother of Pearl Shark Fin Position inlays and a Mother-of-pearl Jackson logo inlaid on the headstock.

The electronics consist of a volume and tone knob with a 3-way pickup selector switch. The pickups are switch in standard mode: Neck, Bridge+Neck, and Bridge. The volume and tone potentiometers are made by CTS which are better than most other pots. The pickup switch is made by switchcraft and should last a long time before it needs replacing. The pickups are by Seymour Duncan with a SD JB™ TB4 Humbucker in the bridge position and a Seymour Duncan Jazz SH2N humbucker in the neck position. This is the same pickup selection found on the Jackson RR1 model. The JB-TB4 is a balanced coil that has plenty of harmonics and high output with an excellent blend of distortion and sustain. The Duncan SH-2 is a humbucker that has accurate and clean tone with a brighter sound. It puts out less than the TB-4 but it adds great tone when combined. Of course to top it all off they've added an original Floyd Rose tremolo and a hardshell case.
