This particular unit was a custom order for which I only received Half up front (for materials), and they skipped out 4 months ago owing me 300 bucks. You are bidding on a 2002 Jackson® JX10 Electric Guitar. This particular model was only manufactured for a limited time during 2001/02. It comes with all the standard Jackson® features, plus 3 matched high output Seymore Duncan twin rail Humbucker SHR101 (SHR1b) pickups w/ 5 Way Switching, Buzz Feiten Tuning system, and a recessed Graphtech graphite nut (all installed by a licensed Buzz Feiten professional).

It has a Carved Cedro Body with a ?" Bookmarked Flamed Maple Top in an Amber Burst Gloss Finish (with standard arm and belly cut), a Satin Finish Maple Neck with a Jackson 3 x 3 Tuner Headstock, Rosewood Fretboard with Moto Pearl Dots, and 24 Jumbo Frets.

Now, about the guitar:

From an aesthetic standpoint, this unit is not only beautiful but flawless. From a quality standpoint, it's a genuine Jackson®  product. From a technical standpoint, it's unique in that it was from a limited run, and it's been upgraded (details and links below).

This is an excellent performing guitar for any application whether you are an amatuer musician, stage musician, touring professional, or a collector. Particularly suited for recording.

Sound and feel:

With the matched high output Duncans and 5 way switching you can achieve a wide variety of sound options. With the Buzz Feiten Tuning System (calibrated nut and bridge), every note on the fretboard rings true to pitch and stays in tune, once tuned in the open position. The 25.5" "D" shaped Satin finish Maple neck w/ 12" radius, 24 jumbo frets, and low action (low E-3/16", high E 1/16" at twelfth fret), makes this neck lightning fast with a very soft touch. For referrence purposes, “low” E at 12th is one penny and “high” E is less than one dime above the fret. Very clear output, sweet tones, and ample sustain.

Electronics:

3 Matched Seymore Duncan High Output Twin Rail Humbuckers SHR101 (1b) ($75.95 ea.). This would be the equivalent output of 6 matched reverse wound single coil pickups combined.

5 Way Pickup Switch - pos. 1 bridge, pos. 2 bridge and middle, pos. 3 all, pos. 4 middle and neck, pos. 5 neck.

One Master Volume and One Master Tone Control, both of which have a very smooth taper.

Tuning System:

Buzz Feiten system installed by a licensed technician ($160.00). See cerification sticker on back of headstock in image. This system allows for tuning that is pleasing to the human ear whether you are playin lead, open chords (especially on the first three frets), or barre chords. See details.

Bridge is a Two Point Tremelo (w/ arm), solid cast tone block, and rounded saddles. Calibrated to match the nut. Top Secret Buzz Feiten presets for this guitar will be included with the purchase so you can use any chromatic tuner with a Centmeter.

Nut is a Graphtech Graphite Nut is cut into the fretboard to alter it's distance from the  bridge.
