RELISTED WITH LOWER PRICE!

Jackson Kelly model, USA made neck thru with original Jackson case!  This is an extremely high quality guitar, and has all the usual upper end jackson features such as full binding, ebony fretboard, jumbo frets, etc.  The neck is in excellent condition, little or no fretwear, no dings or damage to neck.  Plays great and sounds huge! This Kelly has a really thick sound with good low end. It also has active EMG pickups, which were pretty expensive to install. Note that it only has a volume control-a tone knob could be added cheaply by any luthier if desired.

Now for the unusual mod part. The previous owner was apparently obsessed with making the guitar balance perfectly on a strap. Check out the pics-he moved the upper strap button a few times, and then had a cavity routed in the upper horn on the back. Then he filled it with lead. Really. The cavity is neatly done and has a well made cover for it, so it looks ok. Looks like the lead would come out without too much difficulty. Other than that, there's a few spots of wear on the clearcoat on the body edges. The guitar is not dinged up and has no cracks or breaks, and the tips of the horns/headstock aren't beat up. I would say it's a good USA Jackson to gig with. It currently has heavy gauge strings and is tuned down, it's probably time for new strings. Note that it may take a few extra days to get this shipped as the case is BIG and I need to locate a box.
