Jackson Guitars

Up for auction is my 1990 Jackson Guitars USA Rhoads Guitar in BOLTED STEEL Finish.
There were several colors options they offered that year, as well as Custom Finishes, ie: Lightning Bolts, and Pile of Skulls.

I AM the original Owner, having bought this guitar new when I worked at Park Avenue Music in St. Charles Ill back in the day.
Guitar comes with Original Hardshell case.

While workin at the store I had used this guitar at a Demo we did for the store at Guitar Madness in Elgin Ill in 1990 (A sort of Guitar Swap Meet).
My Band and I used alll new equipment on stage, and this guitar was then one I chose to use. Shortly thereafter, I purcahsed it and have owned it ever since.

Guitars Serial # is a USA # , it is UO0335. If you check Jacksons site, it will tell you that this is IN FACT a 1990.

I made some changes to the guitar based on my preferences :

• The Stock Tuning keys have been replaced with BLACK Sperzel Tuners.
  


• All the JAP pots have been removed and AMERICAN made pots installed in their place. The USA Pots not only work better, they allow more control, Sweep, and range of volume over the jap ones.
  


• This guitar originally came with a Battery operated Midrange sweep. That has since been removed and replaced with a standard Tone Control pot.
  


• The standard Volume controls have been changed, as the stock setup allows for the Volume control closest to the neck to work the neck pickup, and the 2nd one closest to the brige to run the bridge pickup. I had these reversed , as it made more sense to me to be able to control the volume of the neck pickup (The one i used the most) with greater ease on stage.
  


• The Neck Pickup is an Original Jackson PIckup that came with the guitar in the Bridge position. Allowing for some SUPER trumpety tones.
  


• The bridge pickup is a Seymour Duncan Jeff Beck.

This guitar does have some nicks on the ends of the fins. I did my best with the pix so u can see them. Fair enough wear for a guitar that has seen stage use, Band practices , Pyrotechnics, and is also 20 years old.

Guitar comes with the original HARD SHELL Case. These cases are huge, and they are heavy, but they DO offer some of the finest protection for the guitar. There is some wear on the case, that is easily seen on the pictures. Please be sure to take close looks at the Pix and please feel free to ask any questions you may have.

She has just been to my service guy and has been gone over top to bottom. Shes all intonated, setup and ready to rock.
