You are looking at a solid body electric guitar and is made by Jackson. Please note that at the very top of the neck THERE IS A hair line crack that might have been repaired ,it truly is hard to tell , it IS on the back of the neck at the first fret,I took a picture as close as I could and it is still hard to see it . It has been this way since I got it two years ago, Now, I am no pro and I can tell you it is one of the easiest necks I have ever played, The strings are very close to the neck and takes no effort to press them down when making chords or playing lead. The guitar stays in tune and plays great .The hair line crack has no effect on the sound or the way it plays .It looks great with no scratches or scuffs and even if you do scratch it you would never see it .I am not sure what kind of finish it is but in person it is really super looking.
