Jackson Guitars

Up for bids today is my beloved Jackson guitar. Not sure what this model is called

and it may indeed be a one of a kind as I’ve never seen another quite like it.

This beauty was made in San Dimas, California and the serial number is 4393 for those

who might want to research this. If anyone can come up with a model number, I will post it. I

am  the original owner and purchased this guitar in 2/87.

This strat style guitar has a gorgeous metallic-red finish and plays great. Very smooth-playing

ebony fretboard. I believe the neck is maple. If anyone knows more about this model and the

wood, I welcome the information and will revise my listing accordingly. Suitable for rock,

blues, heavy metal, and country etc. Can even lay down a nice mellow jazz vibe as well. Very

versatile tones can be had from the combination of neck and middle position single coils, and

the active bridge humbucker (new battery) - great for your searing-hot solos. All electronics

work like new.

Equipped with Jackson tuning pegs and the world reknowned Floyd Rose Trem system,

this guitar is dive bomber's heaven, staying perfectly in tune even after aggressive bends and

trems. Nice light weight and very balanced for extended playing periods.

The guitar is in near-mint condition with no nicks, scratches, dents, dings ,buckle rash,

or Kuchek grease what-so-ever. Slight paint wear on the trem bar.

This guitar has never been gigged with and used sparingly while mostly being stored in the

included OHSC in my smoke free home.  This great Jackson guitar  hasn’t gotten much use as of

late so I figured it was time to move it on to a new home so I can fund other projects.

What a beautiful, unique American-made Jackson guitar in fantastic condition!!!

Just set up with new strings and great action, this guitar will surely reward the winner

of the auction with years of playing pleasure.

Electronics: 5-position pickup selector; master volume; 2 tone controls. The middle tone control pot is slightly stiffer than the other 2 pots, though it still turns easily. This same pot also has a slight bit of scratchiness when turning, though not for the entire pot rotation, just in 1 or 2 spots, and not very loud. These issues can be fixed with some potentiometer spray cleaner.
